Edison State, Miami County Farm Bureau Host 2025 Agriculture Career Fair
蜜桃传媒 and the Miami County Farm Bureau partnered to host the second annual Agriculture Career Fair on March 27, 2025. Over 150 students from local agriculture programs attended, where they visited with local businesses and colleges and learned about career opportunities available in agriculture.

鈥淲e鈥檙e so thrilled with the outcome of the 2025 Agriculture Career Fair and are so thankful to partner with Edison State on this event,鈥 said Taylor Watkins, Organization Director at the Miami County Farm Bureau. 鈥淭he Miami County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees values opportunities like this because it connects local students with real career paths in the industry. Bringing together 17 businesses and colleges to meet with over 150 students shows the strength of our agriculture community and the bright future ahead for these young professionals.鈥
Businesses exhibiting at the career fair included Apple Farm Service, Buckeye Ag Testing, the Edison State Agriculture program, Farm Credit鈥揈aton Branch, Koenig Equipment, Miami County Farm Bureau, Miami County Soil & Water, North Star Hardware & Implement, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Ohio Department of Agriculture: Division of Soil & Water, Ohio Department of Wildlife, Sunrise Cooperative, Scoular, the University of Northwestern Ohio, Upper Valley CTC, Weaver Eggs, and Wright State University鈥揕ake Campus.
鈥淭he Agriculture Career Fair is a great event that showcases the wide array of employment opportunities for young people in our area,鈥 said Brad Lentz, Agriculture Program Director at 蜜桃传媒. 鈥淭he agricultural community in western Ohio has been critical to the success of Edison State鈥檚 Agriculture program. Local businesses have opened their doors to our program by providing internships, educational support, and giving our graduates jobs! It鈥檚 great to see these young people networking with companies and planting the seeds for future career success.鈥
